Rudolph (“Rudy”) C. CarrylFounder and Chief Executive Officer of CCM.  Prior to forming CCM, Rudy was CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Harbor View Growth Equity Management, LLC, a specialty mid-cap growth Fund (“Harbor View”).  Before joining Harbor View, Rudy was a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Growth Equity Products (“Growth Equity”) at Mackay Shields (“Mackay”), a subsidiary of New York Life Investment Management, overseeing the firm’s Growth Equity Division from 1998-2006.  Rudy joined Mackay in 1992 and co-managed all of its growth equity products until 2006.  Prior to joining Mackay, Rudy was a Research Equity Analyst, Senior Portfolio Manager and Research Director at Value Line from 1978 to 1992.  Rudy is an honors graduate of The University of London (1975) and is a holder of Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses.   


Dwain A. Carryl – Partner and President of CCM.  Prior to joining CCM, Dwain was a Research Analyst at GoldenTree Asset Management (2008-12) where he covered the Financials Industry, including insurance companies, asset managers, credit/debit card processors and mortgage servicers.  Dwain was directly responsible for roughly $0.25 billion in portfolio assets invested throughout the capital structure (i.e. debt and equity).  From 2005 to 2008, he was a Vice-President at Merrill Lynch in the equity research department covering large-cap banks before transitioning to the buy-side of Wall Street in Autumn 2008.  Dwain cut his teeth in sell-side equity research as an Associate Analyst at Banc of America Securities covering Specialty Finance during 2004 to 2005.  He began his career at Sidoti & Company, an independent sell-side research boutique, covering the Homebuilding & Building Materials industry in autumn 1999.  He was recognized by the Wall Street Journal in 2001 as one of the top stock pickers in the industry, in the Journal’s annual “Best on the Street Survey”.  Dwain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University (1999), and a Master of Business Administration from Yale University (2004) specializing in Finance. 


Cliff Walsh, CFA Partner and Portfolio Manager of CCM.  Prior to joining CCM, Cliff was at Artio Global Management (formerly known as Julius Baer Investment Management) from 2007-2012 as a Senior Research Analyst and Sector Portfolio Manager covering the US industrials and materials sectors for four US funds and a Global Equity fund. From 2002-2007, Cliff was a lead analyst at Sidoti & Company, an independent sell-side research boutique, responsible for building materials and was named a “Master Stock Picker” in the Wall Street Journal's 2005 "Best On The Street Survey". Cliff began his career at Value Line Publishing as a general Equity Research Analyst covering a broad range of industries, including consumer, health care, manufacturing, technology, and utilities. Cliff holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He graduated with honors and earned a dual major in Finance and Management Systems from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business MBA program (2002) and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University (1998).


Thomas (“Tom”) P. Au – Partner.  Prior to joining CCM, Tom focused on managing his private portfolio in early stage companies, including R.W. Wentworth, an investment and business advisory company, and providing research on investment strategies through various publications of his articles in investment sites such as thestreet.com, Seeking Alpha, and others.  From 1996 to 2004, Tom was a Portfolio Manager, Southern Hemisphere Countries, at Times Square Capital, a subsidiary of Cigna Corporation.  Tom specialized in Latin American, South African, and Australia/New Zealand markets, and managed over $100 million of equity and fixed income assets as part of a team approach to global investing.  From 1994 to 1995, Tom was at Unifund, S.A., an investment company based in Geneva, Switzerland.  Based in Mexico City for most of 1994, and at World Headquarters in Geneva in 1995, Tom was a Senior Analyst and Research Director, overseeing research of mid-cap growth stocks in Mexico, Brazil, Peru, and other emerging markets.  He began his career in the research department of Value Line Inc., where he worked from 1983 to 1994, rising to Senior Industry Analyst.  At Value Line, Tom reported to Rudy for nearly ten years, while covering large and mid-cap stocks in diverse sectors such as oil and gas, metals and mining, pharmaceuticals, media, and telecommunications. Tom graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. He has completed one year of coursework toward a PhD program in Accounting at Carnegie Mellon University.
